Virtual Support Groups

SSA Discussion Group

SCI Community Discussion Group is the group meeting that we host for SCI members, their families, caregivers and anyone else who’s interested.

We meet on Zoom and they are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 6-7:30pm. People can come and go as they please, staying for the whole time or just a few minutes. We discuss a range of subjects related to Spinal cord injuries, some dates with experienced guest speakers to answer any questions you may have.

Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation

The Quality of Life Grants Program, created by the late Dana Reeve, strives to help individuals with disabilities and their families by providing grants to nonprofit organizations that improve quality of life through access, independence, opportunities for community engagement, and other life-enhancing endeavors.

Reeve Foundation Virtual Support Groups
The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation’s support groups provide support and education for individuals living with paralysis and their family members/caregivers.

Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai

Offers specific virtual support groups of people with spinal cord injuries, including a weekly virtual group that meets on Wednesday afternoons.

Kennedy Krieger Institute

Hosts a monthly virtual group for people with paralysis and their families and caregivers, held on the first Tuesday of each month.
